  Arcana is back after being abducted by pirates!

  --Yes I did. And I saw a white light and then I realized I got shanghai-ed, slid down one of those tunnels and pressed into service as a shipboard cook. Miss me, yes! But don't pity me because Arcana's developed a new skill. Now in addition to being a clairvoyant with a little extra obsession with all things naughty, Arcana now knows how to sling some hash! And those merchant marines are hungry and she never gets sick at sea and she swam back to shore with tales to tell! The problem is, of course, no one ever believes Arcana and the evidence is gone since they sunk the ship with all those damn pirates on it, little did they know that Arcana just made them their last meal which was a quite tasty rainbow trout with dill and carrots number that I worked up. I sank the boat just off the Oregon coast and hitchhiked back after a brief stay in Mount Shasta to regain a clear perspective of things.
  
  I know what you all are saying right now. How did you get trout and carrots on a pirate ship!?! But I've told you, Arcana has her ways, and I've been to the ocean, I've been to the mountain and I'm back to serve with humble kindness. A big ol meal of glorious rock love! I will miss that captain though! He had a certain bow-legged swagger that my thoughts drifted into but alas he had to die!

  How are lyrics coming along for carnival barker?
  
  --You know that scene in the ring where that creepy little kid is at the bottom of the well? The lyrics are behaving like that.

  Is there a chance we'll ever get a studio recording of gorgeous? It is my fave 3eb track, but the demo is not enough!

  Is the magik magik orchestra ep going to be released?
  
  --Oh yes it is. Mistress Mistra Minna Choi was just over the other day. It's mixed, it's most certainly magik and they're working o the video edit to release it as part of the Ursa rising book.
  
  
  Is there anywhere I could get a huge 4' x 4' poster of the Ursa Major Album Cover for my room?
  
  --Yes, go to Kinkos! Go up the clerk and say, "just how stoned are you. Nevermind, I'd like this blown into a 4 x 4 poster please." That should take care of it.
  
  
  Will the guys be playing for Bamboozle again this year?

  Arcana, earlier in the year you had said that Away was a maybe for minor, any update on it's status?
  
  --Away is an Arcana favorite and she, my friend, is your humble champion. Magic 8 ball says probably.
  
  
  So how is the recording of Ursa Minor going? What's the newly projected release date?
  
  --Honey bun, all the bees are banging around in a bonnet right now. Let me rephrase the kittens are in a bunch. There will definitely be a single out before spring but the whole of Minor? Let's put it this way, me keeps asking the 8 ball on this question and it's coming up bubbles.
  
  
  Stephan says there is a lot of negativity at TVCY and that's what deters him from visiting the site and posting. I SERIOUSLY don't think people would be rude to him over there if he just made a few posts. People would be nice and welcoming, believe it or not. I sincerely think that a few posts made by him would change the attitude of the whole website. Talk him into it, Arcana.
  
  --Here's what happens when Arcana translates that sentence into the odd pirate dialect I picked up while in bondage the last couple of months (not to knock bondage. Frankly, it always has been a sick curiosity of mine ever since seeing Betty Page all tied up in bangs). Back to my translation, here's the English translation back from pirate dialect: hey Stephan, put your body parts in this meat grinder. It's your friend. You won't be flayed and turned into bratwurst. No way, not at all. Just because I've got my hand on the crank, we might just eat you alive!
  
  Allow me to clarify: Lady Gaga's eyes freak me out, and yet she's my favorite tranny! Arcana wishes to foster the Assembly ethos --loving kindness, positivity, big dose of kink . . .no, that's about it.
  
  
  In the demo "sorry" Stephan apologizes for breaking into a 7-11 with a plastic gun. What is this a reference to?
  
  --It's a reference to people doing, nevermind. Well actually, self-referential imagery, evocative of all manner of stupid pointless shit, seemingly for self-gain that is ultimately self-demeaning.
