It may be small but I am really looking forward to a theater show tonight after a couple nights in cavernous basketball arenas.
Musicians play their instruments but what are they actually playing? In a sense, a musician is playing the room just as much as their own instrument. The sound an instrument, especially drums, makes as it resonates in a space entirely informs how the musician plays the instrument.
...Yeah....long drum solo tonight ;)

I wish you guys could play Madison Square Garden!!! That would be beyond amazing.
i turned down a teaching gig that was in the all-purpose, gymnasacafetorium. the acoustic vibration of a decent hall (and the benefits of playing with them) are beyond compare. ^_^
seeing you guys at the lincoln theatre in raleigh was amazing! it was such a small and intimate performance...nice show at the solas lounge afterward as well...great job all around!
I got boosebumps even just to see your drum solo through a video. That was.... AMAZING! Wonder how I can learn that beat of yours :p
just saw your drum solo video. love it! "(>_
totally agree with that...it sucks when the acoustics are bad!!
Nice.
the show was amazing last night! and meeting you guys was even cooler! thanks so much!
Loved the show.....you guys were a great fit for the State Theatre. The drum solos (at beginning and during the show) were a treat. Slightly bummed you did not play Non-dairy Creamer.....my personal request....but I will get over it.
i fall more and more in love with your drumming each time i see you. i'm lovin the beats.
