It's been far too long since I wrote a blog. I actually wrote one while flying to Kansas from LA but forgot about it and now its out of date. Recorded some drums for the studio version of Monotov's(the remix) yesterday. It was fun to dig around a bit for the right approach. We started by doing 3 full drum takes. Next we did two takes where I played just the drums and then overdubbed the hi hat and cymbals. We cut up those takes in pro tools to approximate a drum machine's accuracy.
