..like there's always been.
So it's been a couple of days, some warmer weather has spawned and a month of birthdays is now born. Starting today with my mother's 54th birthday, following with mine on the 15th and my sister's on the 16th. And beyond family, several of my friends too have March birthdays or know a March birthday.
Anyways, following my previous blog with Page 45, I received about $1400.00 in checks from tax returns and financial aid. And you know, after being knocked down so low recently, this is like a glorious jackpot.
First thing I buy? Dunkin Donut's new Waffle Sandwich, Bacon Egg & Cheese.
Then today I reordered a print of the Third Eye Blind photomosaic in a much higher quality, as well as the Ursa Double Album poster. I expect to see them both this weekend, and I highly recommend the Assembly to consider these posters as well. Perhaps we can get it to feature in the store.
Which reminds me, one of the most prominent members here posted in the Third Eye Blind: 2010 Calender forum stating that the calender should be featured in the store. I agree with him, but whether or not it is to be added to the store I will be posting free images here in a future blog for you guys to download. PosterBrain.com is a great service for printing out images in poster sizes.
Moving on, in light of the new weather I wrote something short and new in memory of all the good times in the warm sun:
I feel the wind
Blowing through the sand
And you knowing that I am
Blazing in the trails
Riding high on my sails
Coasting down the powerline
With the love of your heart
Breathing on my mind.
"Under Sky"
Going back to the Book 1/Book 2/Book 3 thing, I plan on deleting all the previous poems and replacing them 9 at a time in new blogs. I will be posting Books 3 and 4 the same way as I had with Books 1 and 2, but in a week or so.
Ok, now to get away from the informative...
I got my first real taste of video prohibition: my college canceled my plans to make my big video project this spring. Why? Because I didn't have a video professor backing a project that I would be turning in for credit for ONE class. Being a video major, there are several classes that analyze different parts of movies, the scriptwriting, lighting, sound, design, art...you get the picture. Also, I can't film wide-angle shots of the campus that might offend other people. Real bullshit right, this was supposed to be my big film of the year and my pro-Video college says I can't make it.
Well, at least I can write. I'm working on a short story based directly on the film.

happy early birthday! :)
